Screening Level Risk Assessment
Steer Environmental conducted a Screening Level Risk Assessment of trichloroethene, tetrachloroethene, dissolved arsenic, and dissolved uranium in groundwater beneath a commercial property located in Revelstoke, BC. The SLRA was prepared in accordance with BC Ministry of Environment Protocol 13 with the objective of facilitating financing for the property.
The assessment identified no operable exposure pathways for humans or ecological receptors and thus concluded that the risk posed by the contamination was acceptable and compliant with risk based standards of the CSR. A MoE Certificate of Compliance was issued for the property based on the findings of the risk assessment.
